In the past, eggs were produced on farms. Free-ranging hens fed on grain provided by the farmer's wife and laid good farm eggs on straw, in wooden nests.

In 1983 Charles and Lucienne GLUSZAK, the founders of Cocorette, wanted to revive these traditional practices and supply consumers with farm-produced eggs, like in the past. They won the support of farmers in their quest to produce real farm eggs laid on straw and collected by hand, from hens that have been free to roam in natural surroundings.

Today, these simple authentic values continue to motivate all the partners in the Cocorette network, which has expanded into every region of France.

Because today, like in the past, it is by letting nature work its magic that eggs acquire unbeatable quality.
