Quite a weird plane, in fact ... Designed in the early fifties and intended to validate the concept of a ramjet powered fighter fitted with an additional turbojet in order to take-off autonomously. Compatible with FS2004 and FSX.

 
SNCASE 5000/5003 Baroudeur

A French fighter bomber of the early fifties. The main particularity of this aircraft was the absence of landing gear. The Baroudeur was taking-off using a separate carriage and had retractable skids for landing. Compatible with FS2004 and FSX.

Nord 1500 Griffon

A prototype of a Mach 2 ramjet-powered fighter designed and built by French aircraft manufacturer Nord Aviation in 1953. Fully compatible with FS2004 and FSX. No VC for the moment.

 
Caudron C450

A French racer built in 1934, originally fot the "Coupe Deutch de la Meurthe" trophy. But this aircraft was also - and above all - the one used by the french pilot Hélène Boucher to set, during the summer of 1934, several historical speed records that made the young woman enter the legend, only a few weeks before her death ... FS2004 only. FSX version available on request.

 
Dewoitine D338

A typical French trimotor liner used during the thirties on the intercontinental lines between 1935 and 1939. The model represents an aircraft used by Air France in 1938 on Far East lines (from Paris to Singapore, Bangkok, Saigon, ...), with a typical 12 seat lay-out. FS2004 and FSX plane, with a "passenger-point-of-view" virtual cockpit.

 
Mirage III R + virtual cockpit

The Mirage III R is the reco version of the Mirage III, equipped with cameras in the nose. This one is proposed in 3 versions : French Air Force, Swiss Air Force and Silver Prototype. The details and animations have been improved since the Mirage III C/E model and a full virtual cockpit has been added. Full compatibility with both FS2004 and FSX.

A French fighter built in 1928. The model represents the aircraft flown by French test pilot Marcel Doret in dozens of airshows and aerobatic contests between 1929 and 1936.

 
SNCAC NC 1071

The first French twin-turbojet, flew for the first time on 12 October 1948. Able to speeds upto Mach 0.7, the NC1071 was particularly noticeable with its weird design and its enormous underwing engine nacelles. After 3 years of test flights, and despite excellent performances, the project was unfortunately cancelled in 1951 ..

A weird plane !! A "tail-sitter" VTOL aircraft (Vertical Take Off and Landing) developed by the French Engine Manufacturer SNECMA in the 1950s. Using the concept of the "annular wing". Fully compatible with FS2004 and FSX / SP2.

FS2004 / FSX (SP2 compatible) SNCAC NC 1071, complete package, with full moving parts, animations, custom panel and a full virtual cockpit. By Patrice Grange, November 2008.

After 3 years of test flights, and despite excellent performances, the project was unfortunately cancelled in 1951 ...

The model has full moving parts and animations (control surfaces, gear, flaps, opening door, pilot ladder, steering wheel, landing light, ...), an original custom 2D panel (an original bitmap by me) and a full animated VC.
